Our Campus Minister, Rev. Dawn Black, fosters an intellectual and academic approach to religious conversation within secular gatherings. These conversations offer discernment for ministry and support students as they assess their vocational identity. Her experience of 10 years in business administration and leadership partnered with 4 years of social work and 10 years of ordained ministry bring a specific set of qualities which arch together to the benefit of students and partnerships. She has BS in sociology with concentrations in history, women/gender studies, and anthropology. Her Masters of Divinity is from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with an area of concentration in Christian Education. She is ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Her personal foundation in the call to ministry is to feed the sheep, seek justice, and love kindness. Pastor Dawn always enjoys the opportunity to share what we do and to engage in conversation regarding ways we can expand our impact in the community and invites you to visit and imagine the ways you can engage in the magic that is United Campus Ministries.
